Application/Profile Walk-Thru
Step One
TIME TO REGISTER
- Register your OOC account.
- Register your character account by their First and Last name if they have one. Make sure the name you've chosen is not already in use, you can use the Member list to check.
- You can connect your character accounts to your OOC account while logged into that account by using the 'Edit Sub-accounts' section in your Control Panel (CP).
- Login with your character account using the dropdown in the top bar then open up your control panel by selecting the Gear Icon in the top bar.
- In your Control Panel (CP), navigate to 'Edit profile' and begin editing in the information of your application.
Step Two
BASIC WRITER INFORMATION
Fill in the basic OOC account fields about yourself as a person.
- OOC name - the name you go by in the Discord server and the name of your OOC account
- OOC pronouns - Your preferred pronouns as a person
- Timezone - Input your local timezone
- Discord Info - If you are comfortable doing so, input your Discord user name
- Comfort Level - Select your applicable comfort level from the scroll down bar
- Trigger Notes - If you have certain triggers, please briefly list them here
Step Three
While logged into your Character account, begin filling out the IC portion of your application that refer directly to your character.
- OOC name - Your chosen alias
- Nicknames - Short form names your characters go by
- Birthday - Your chosen date to be your characters birthday
- Age - How old is your character?
- Face Claim - Which celebrity face do you claim to represent your characters physical image?
- Occupation - What kind of job do they have?
- Species Rank - Are they a Warrior, Noble etc
- Species - Choose between High Fae, Lesser Fae, Human etc?/
- Sub-species - If lesser Fae, list sub-species. If High Fae or Human put N/A
- Hair Colour - What colour is your characters hair?
- Height - How tall is your character?
Step Four
SKILL POINTS
Every new character starts with 250 skill points to spend through the various eight skills listed in their profile. How you divvy these skills up is totally up to you but the total throughout all skills cannot total more than 250 to begin. You earn more through posting, events and rewards. These are the following skills we're using throughout the site and what attributes they represent:
- Fighting (How much of a trained warrior you are)
- Strength (Athletics, Lifting, Moving heavy objects)
- Agility (Acrobatics, slight of hand, stealth, Balance, Flexibility ect)
- Intelligence (Education, Book smarts, Social Etiquette, Observation skills)
- Magic (How well trained and how powerful they are in magic use)
- Charisma (Intuition, Cleverness, Deception, Persuasion, Intimidation, Performing, Seduction)
- Spirituality (Religion, Soulful, Faithfulness etc in whatever they believe in personally)
- Naturalist (Animal handling, plant knowledge, Hunting/Tracking, Wayfinding, Survival Skills etc)
Step Five
SPECIES POWERS
Create a simple list of your characters Basic powers. These are 'basic' powers that don't really require any detailed explanation. There are pre-determined lists of your species power in the FAE SPECIES GUIDE. There are some specifically for High Fae and each specific tab for Lesser-Fae sub-species will have them listed.
Use span tags for each item in the list.

Step Six
UNIQUE POWERS
Come up with more detailed write-ups for your more Unique species power that your character has. Every Fae can start with up to two or three powers. Powers should be related to their Courts as a high fae or to their sub-species as a Lesser Fae. Unique powers would include things like Fire Element from an Autumn Court high Fae. You would write out about how their Autumn court Fire ability manifests for them in particular.
To understand more about what you're allowed with High Fae/Lesser Fae magic, please read the Fae Courts Page and the Rules of Magic page. When writing your unique powers, be sure to include what they do, how they work, what their weaknesses are, How well trained they are etc.

Step Seven
SPECIES WEAKNESS & PERSONAL WEAKNESSES
Create a simple list of your characters species weaknesses (Like Ashwood or Faebane for Fae) and personal weaknesses (like alcohol abuse, addictions, allergies etc). These are 'basic' weaknesses that don't really require any detailed explanation.
Use span tags for each item in the list.

EXTRA INFORMATION
While logged into your character account, fill in some extra information about your character.
- IC PRONOUNS - What are your CHARACTERS pronouns?
- Sexuality - What is your characters sexuality?
- Relationship Status - What is your characters relationship status
- Languages - What languages do they speak?
- Charrie quote - What's a short quote that represents who your character is?
Step Nine
PERSONALITY & PERSONALITY FLAWS
Create a simple list of describing words that explain a bit about your characters personality and personality flaws.
Use span tags for each item in the list.

Step Ten
HISTORY
This space is to write up your characters basic character background history. Take your time when coming up with it. It doesn't have to be a novel but should be at least three paragraphs long. Please insert each paragraph into <p></p> tags.
Step Eleven
Fill in some information for links and images in your application.
- 100x100 - Insert the url link of a 100x100 sized image.
- 200x100 IMG A - Insert the url link of a 200x100 Image.
- 200x100 IMG B - Insert another url link to your second 200x100 Image.
- Tracker - Insert a url link either to your characters thread tracker if they have one or mark as N/A
- Locker - Insert the url link to your lockers forum, found in the OOC area under your OOC name
